This website is a list compiled by ALSC (Association for Library Service to Children) of description of major awards and their winner and honorees. This list includes Caldecott and Newberry award winners.

The Texas Library Association sponsors this list to encourage free voluntary reading. Readers in grades 3-6 are encouraged to read at least five of the books before they vote for their favorite at their public or school library.

 

The Texas 2x2 reading list is a list of books recommended by the Texas Library Associations Children's Round Table for children between the age of two and second grade.
