Get ready to make a splash! Join the Harker Heights Parks and Recreation Team as we celebrate Parks and Recreation Month and the Grand Reopening of Kern Park. This won't be your typical ribbon-cutting ceremony. The kids are in charge of this one! As we turn on the new splash pad for the very first time, they'll help officially open it, kicking off a day of fun and celebration. Come check out all that Kern Park has to offer, including the new splash pad, playground, walking trail, pollinator garden, and community garden. Browse the Farmers Market, shop local vendors, enjoy music from our DJ, and take part in games and activities for the whole family. Our amazing Harker Heights Parks and Recreation Team will be firing up the grill and serving FREE hot dogs and chips while supplies last!
