The Harker Heights Fire Department is a service and community-oriented emergency response agency dedicated to protecting lives, property, and the well-being of our citizens. Our department proudly serves the residents and visitors of Harker Heights through fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue operations, fire prevention, public education, and emergency preparedness.
Harker Heights is a growing and diverse community located in Bell County, Texas, with a proud history of supporting military families, veterans, and our neighbors at Fort Hood. As our city continues to grow, the Fire Department remains committed to providing professional, efficient, and compassionate service to every person we serve.
Our firefighters and civilian staff work each day to build strong relationships within the community through public education programs, school visits, fire safety initiatives, station tours, community events, and emergency preparedness outreach. These efforts help promote safety, prevention, and trust between the department and the citizens of Harker Heights.
